Power Shift 2007 is the first ever national youth climate summit. Over 5,500 campus based energy activists, community organizers, environmental advocates, and climate change ameliorators have gathered share ideas and inspiration, and also take direct action and lobby on capitol hill. These are the students who convince their Universities to sign onto the President’s Climate Commitment, join AASHE, and institutionalize sustainability. It is a historic event that raises the intensity of the fight for climate justice.
