Last week, when AASHE received Western Carolina University’s Membership Application, our total reached 500.

Here’s a breakdown of our members:

4 Year and Graduate Institutions - 308
2 Year Institutions and Community Colleges - 91
System Offices - 4
Businesses - 66
NGOs/Government Agencies - 33
K-12 Institutions - 8

You’ll notice that these numbers actually total 510, which is because we have passed 500 since last week. You’ll also notice that we are 1 campus away from reaching 400 campus members. Fax your application in now and your campus will be it! :)

That being said, I would like to congratulate the higher education community for your commitment to sustainability. Sustainability Officers, faculty, staff, and students are all working hard to create change in universities across North America, and AASHE is proud! (We love to brag about what you are doing! If you don’t believe us, subscribe to the AASHE Bulletin, and don’t forget to submit your sustainability initiatives to bulletin@aashe.org.)

Please remember that if you need help in any of your campus sustainability initiatives, please contact our office. We’re here to serve you.
